About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

BDR Manager, North - MuleSoft (Salesforce)

The Opportunity

MuleSoft's Sales Development organisation is in the middle of a deliberate transformation from a traditional outbound motion to what we're building as the most AI-native BDR function in enterprise tech sales. We're redefining what a BDR does, how a manager leads and what great looks like for teams operating in technically complex, consumption-based markets.

This is the manager role for our North region (Benelux & Nordics). The territory demands commercial rigour, cultural intelligence and a leader who invests in their people as seriously as they invest in pipeline.

If you are a coach first, a builder by instinct and genuinely excited about what AI means for the future of Sales Development then this role was designed for you.

Your Region

You'll lead a team of technical-seller BDRs covering the North territory, partnering closely with a senior AVP and field sales organisation. North is a region of high performance expectations and significant opportunity. Benelux and Nordics experience is a strong advantage. You'll be based in the Salesforce Tower in Dublin and report directly to the Director of Sales Development.

What You'll Do

Coaching & People Development

Your primary job is to make your team better. You'll run structured 1:1s, listen to calls, review cadences and give feedback that actually changes behaviour. You will own the individual development of every rep on your team. Their skills, their confidence and their trajectory.

You'll operate within a broader leadership development infrastructure: an IDP programme built across six capability pillars, promotion pathways with clear gate criteria and a peer community of managers across four EMEA regions. You won't be left to figure this out alone.

Driving an AI-Native BDR Motion

This year, the North team is part of a wider transformation across our organisation. We are actively embedding AI tools into the BDR workflow & removing administrative burden, sharpening research and enabling reps to spend more of their time in genuine prospect conversations. As a leader, you'll be expected to lead this shift with your team.

Pipeline Ownership & Commercial Execution

You'll own North pipeline generation against ambitious FY targets with full visibility and accountability across forecast, activity and conversion metrics. You'll partner with AVP stakeholders, marketing and sales operations to ensure your team is executing against the right accounts with the right message at the right time.

Building the Team

You'll be involved in hiring, onboarding and retaining great BDR talent in the North region. You'll take a long-term view on developing your reps into the next generation of AEs and managers.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience leading an outbound BDR or SDR team OR 5+ years of selling experience within the Salesforce ecosystem covering North as a region
  • Experience in or strong knowledge of Benelux and/or Nordic markets. The buyers, the culture, the outbound nuance
  • A coaching instinct that is genuine and demonstrable. We'll ask you to walk us through a rep you turned around
  • Comfort with AI tools, automation and the idea that the manager's job is evolving alongside the BDR's job
  • Experience working within a large, matrixed organisation. Salesforce ecosystem familiarity is an advantage
  • English fluency required; Dutch, Swedish or Norwegian proficiency is a meaningful plus
  • Data literacy: you can read a pipeline report, identify the real problem and act on it the same day

What You'll Join

  • A global BDR organisation with responsibility for a key region
  • A structured leadership development programme with real investment in your growth
  • A team in active transformation. Innovating fast towards AI-native workflows, higher-quality pipeline and a model that will inform the blueprint for Sales Development at Salesforce globally
  • Full Salesforce benefits: healthcare, pension, education subsidy, gym subsidy, volunteering days and everything else that comes with one of the best companies to work for in Europe

Map Your Future

This role sits inside one of the most intentional BDR organisations in the Salesforce ecosystem. For the right person, it is a stepping stone to Senior Manager, Director, or equivalent leadership roles within EMEA, with the development infrastructure to support that path.

Unleash Your Potential

When you join Salesforce, you'll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we'll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future - but to redefine what's possible - for yourself, for AI, and the world.
