Job Description
Your Role: Business Accounting Senior Manager
Reporting to the Head of Finance Hub, you'll lead the team that keeps accounting, P&L and balance sheet control accurate, well governed and on time across Audio, Outdoor and Costs.
As a Business Accounting Senior Manager at Global, you will:
Key Responsibilities
Lead the team (40%): Lead and manage the Business Accounting team to deliver timely, accurate and compliant management and financial accounting outputs, setting clear performance objectives and taking corrective action where required.
Month-end reporting and control (30%): Hold the team to strict month-end timelines, producing robust accruals and provisions calculations, divisional P&Ls and variance analysis against forecast and prior periods, in full compliance with Group Accounting Policy and UK GAAP.
Simplify, standardise and automate (20%): Improve the Finance Reporting Hub delivery model, automating Record to Report with the business, Commercial Finance, Group Finance and IT.
Service and stakeholder management (10%): Deliver Finance Reporting Hub services to agreed service levels, resolving issues proactively and promoting a right-first-time culture through a disciplined control framework.

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with proven post-qualification experience in a relevant accounting or control role.
Leadership: Experience leading and developing finance teams within a complex, multi-business organisation.
Balance: The ability to balance control and commercial needs, with strong communication and cross-functional stakeholder management.
Systems and improvement: A good understanding of finance systems, data flows and integrations, and a clear view of "what good looks like".
Coaching and Development: Nurturing talent by empowering and guiding individuals to unlock their potential.
Building Trust: Creating and maintaining an inclusive environment where diverse views and experiences are welcomed and celebrated in your team.
