Responsibilities:
- Act as a senior Security Architect and technical authority across a portfolio of projects and services.
- Lead security architecture reviews and provide expert guidance on secure design principles.
- Assess and advise on cloud, network, infrastructure and application security controls.
- Review complex technical solutions and ensure they align with security, regulatory and business requirements.
- Conduct and support threat modelling, risk assessments and vulnerability assessments.
- Provide technical oversight and recommendations for security testing and penetration testing activities.
- Support vulnerability management activities, helping teams prioritise and remediate security risks.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, testers and assurance teams to deliver secure solutions.
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical security challenges.
- Coach and mentor security practitioners, helping to improve the quality and consistency of technical security outputs.
- Promote security best practice and contribute to the development of technical standards across the security community.
- Engage with both senior stakeholders and technical delivery teams to communicate security risks and recommendations effectively.
